– i remember when i was younger looking through photos and wondering, “why did mom/dad take all these photos of the boring landscape?” same with watching home videos, “geeze, why did mom/dad zoom in on each others butts on this christmas video?” – as you can tell, they rubbed off on me.
– the joy of simple things, like ice cream and sticky frogs. i love how my little ones find joy in the simplest of things; boxes, bugs, anything sticky. they are my reminder that simplicity is better.
– how i’m longing for some colour outside. green trees, blooming flowers, a sunkissed tan, that all sounds good right about now. i do love a winter wonderland, but unfortunately we didn’t really get one this year. outside just looks dead, cold, and boring. springtime can’t come soon enough!
